The Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Medford Rogue Rotary.  All charitable contributions made to the Foundation are administered by the Foundation's Board of Trustees, a 12-member Board elected by the Medford Rogue Rotary Club members.  .

 

Currently the Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation is awarding 54 college scholarships to local students, the majority of whom are attending colleges in the state of Oregon.  The general academic scholarships range in amounts from $2,000 to $3,000 each for four years.  Two performing arts scholarships are one-year scholarships for $1,500 each.   

 

The Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation's  investment portfolio for scholarships is approximately 2.5 million dollars. The Foundation's assets are invested by the Oregon Community Foundation. To learn more about the Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation's Scholarships, "Click-Here"

 

Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation was quick to respond to the Tsunami in the fall of 2005 with more than $57,000 in financial aid.  Through contributions designated to World Community Service, ongoing relief efforts there have included providing fishing boats to devastated villages and opening and equipping a school for local children.

 

In addition, the Foundation collaborated with the club's World Community Service Committee to manage the distribution of more than $21,000 to victims of the Katrina disaster in Louisiana in 2006.
