Q: Who do I contact in order to receive a make-up credit?

A: You can now report make ups through our Web site by going to the home page and clicking on the Report Make Ups button, or send an e-mail to Scott Lubich at depsecscott@gmail.com.

Q: What is the website for an online makeup?

A: You can make up a meeting at your convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Spending 30 minutes on this website constitutes an On-Line Rotary meeting. Go to http://www.rotaryeclubone.org/  When you have finished e-mail Scott Lubich at depsecscott@gmail.com.

Q: Are there time limits for making up an absence?

A:  A member must make for an absence from a regular weekly meeting within fourteen (14) days before or after the missed regular meeting.

Q: What are the attendance requirements for the club?

A: A member must attend or make up at least 60 percent of the club meetings in each half of the year and attend at least 30 percent of the club's regular meetings in each of half of the year.

Q: What is the "Rule of 85" and how can I qualify?

A: 

Medford Rogue Rotarians may be exempt from attendance requirements if the aggregate of their age, and years of Rotary service totals 85. Members who wish to apply for "Rule of 85" designation must submit a request in writing to the Secretary (click here) .  The request will be taken before the Board of Directors at the next regular board meeting.

Q: What qualifies as an attendance make-up?

A: 

To qualify for a make up, one of the following activities must occur within 2 weeks before or after an absence:

  • Attend a meeting at another club
  • Attend a board of directors meeting at our club
  • Attend a board of directors meeting of our foundation
  • Attend meetings of District 5110 or Rotary International
  • Participates in club activity, club service project or club sponsored community event.
